I noticed the youngest blue hen wasn't acting right.........Doc's spurs have sliced her side.....there is a piece of meat sliced and intact, but sliced............like a carving on a Thanksgiving turkey........ os I've brought her up here in the bedroom in the brooder. Poured betadine on it and cleaned it out......put neosporin on..........Damn, it needs stitches.............it's not bleeding............Any advice?

Sounds like you have done about all I would do.... I don't like neosporine on chickens.... It's greasy and holds dirt and anything else that it may come in contact with. But many use it with great success. I much prefer benadine and Blu cote.... Don't try to stitch her. Keep her up where he can't ride her till she heals some. She'll be fine lady...
