I have four out and more of than a dozen pipped.... I set this about 6 in the evening and they are starting to actively hatch now. So I'm take'n that to mean my temps are dead nuts on.... I'm love'n this little hatcher. It has a screen that the carton with eggs sits on, but the chicks can drop off the back side and have room to get underneath. Once they do they can't get back up to harass the eggs yet to hatch... Works out well.... I may build one more to polish a few rough spots.... My brooder is warm and ready for chicks!

pop pop pop Pics? Oh Bill.......I love what you said about your hatcher, but I'm so bad about visualizing what you're saying about them falling over the side to the bottom.  When you can, can you show me? It sounds really neat!

Ok, so far 23 have hatched but one hatched from the bottom of the egg so I had to end him. That leaves 22 hatched and fine. Two of the last four have pipped.... I should end up with 24 outta 27.... By my math that's 88%....  I lock down Buckeyes from Bill tomorrow....

The tracking says it left KCMO at 4:00 ish this morning and on time to be delivered tomorrow Lady.... Here's the tracking #  9505514392926097003645 .... I ended up with 25 out of 27 eggs. I culled number 26, and 27 died in shell.... Not a bad hatch thou. That gives me a total of 33 cornish in the brooders and close to 60 still cook'n I think....
