Everything has been run'n fine the last few days.  When I found it so high I threw the controller away and replaced it with one I took off a incubator..... I ordered 2 more of these too. Nifty little gadgets Iv got on two of my bators now.....

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Willhi-Wh1436-Ac-110v-240v-Digital-Temperature-Controller-Thermostat-Control-/231884750652?hash=item35fd687f3c:g:FmUAAOSwAYtWJy4Z

They seem to be working out great. Several months using one. On my cabinet bator. And about six weeks using the other on the hatcher. Both have been flawless so far. They are cheap and from china thou. For incubators and hatchers, the .1 degree differential a very good thing. They use a solid state relay as the "Switch". When a relay like these go bad, they normally do it in the closed or "On" position. Thus cooking what ever climate they are controlling. I now have more than 60 chicks in the brooders now for anyone keep'n score......  afraid

Four little buckeyes from Bill's eggs, one from my buckeye eggs and two little Pharaoh quail!  I put the little chickens in the same brooder with the other buckeye and they are very happy together.  The older chicks have feathers on their wings now and trying to fly.  I'll get a picture tomorrow when I clean the brooder.

Awesome happy news:  The hen that has been hiding was out yesterday afternoon and had FOUR fuzzy babies with her.   hatch  hatch  hatch  hatch   heart

There are no pictures because the dogs came in with me, so Mama Hen quickly escorted her babies back to the nest.  Bucky was in protective mode and held the dogs back until the babies got away.

Unlike the rooster in town, Bucky will peck and flog the chihuahuas when they try to chase him.  Stoney was a buddy to the dogs.  He would peck the dog door until they would come out and chase him!  Then after some running, he would chase the dogs.  Also, when the trash truck   came down the alley, Stoney and the dogs would unite in territoriality.  They would all run to the back fence and make a ruckus until they chased the trash truck away.

More pictures -- the first one shows some of the second batch of Bill's chicks and the five chicks of the hen.  Also, I think, the back end of a young pharaoh.

And here is the hen with her chicks:
