She'll never see me here!

Its gotten to where I just expect chukars to be loose every day.  Sometimes its just one.  Sometimes a whole cage full is out.  Fortunately they are in the quail porch, so its not like they are outside.

Chukars are tasty too! The best way to keep them out of trouble is putting a good BBQ rub on them! ;-)

"Good luck to you!  Smart idea using water jugs to restrain and drain.  It gave me the idea to use 1/2 gal. plastic jugs for chukars.  I really, really need to cull chukars."

Get those Chukars culled Dawn?  We've done 7 roos so far and have 5 or 6 more to go!  I'm so afraid of culling the wrong one! They are so young, it's hard to tell the one to keep and the one to toss! The one I took pictures of is the best so far, but there is one more that really looks good and they are being a littlebit LOUD!  I'll take pictures tomorrow and ya'll can help me choose!  The Hong Kong flue has subsided somewhat except for sinus stuff and just feeling "low gas".
