FINALLY - my husband and son moved the buckeye pen to the new location. It is very shady in this spot. Nice and

compared to the quail porch. The roof is made of corrogated barn tin screwed together. It will leak in a hard rain but it would take a grizzly bear to tear it open. The thing the nest buckets are on is the inside of an

fridge. The chickens can go in there to get out of the wind.

We moved all the Buckeyes and the four White Cornish into the pen yesterday evening. None of the chicks had been outside before. So they were in shock but I think they like their new home.
