Back in the summer I got some fawn bobwhite eggs from ebay. Six chicks hatched -- 4 fawn, 1 Mexican speckle, 1 red. They are about 12 weeks. One of the fawn died recently. The remaining birds are probably 2 roos and 1 hen. They live with their brood mates and 2 older Mexican speckle roos.
Clockwise from upper left: Fawn (roo), Mexican Speckle, Fawn (roo), Mexican speckle, Fawn (hen)

The top headstripe of the young Fawns is greyish-brown. Black on Mexican Speckle. Eye stripe of Fawn roo is darker, nearly black. Overall body color of a Fawn is like a light Mexican Speckle with lighter spots.
Clockwise from upper left: Red (almost invisible), Fawn (roo), Mexican Speckle (roo?), Fawn (hen), Fawn (roo), Mexican Speckle (roo), Mexican Speckle (roo).
