Only one out of the first set of six eggs.  He is hanging out with the buckeye chicks.  (DISCLAIMER:  Bad.  Bad.  Bad.  Nobody  should put poults with chicken chicks!)  It's got a big bump for its little snood which makes me think it's a boy, but might name it Rosemary anyway.

Now we have poults!  cheers  Six new babies join the older one for a total of seven.  These are all from Sage and Rosemary.  There are about 8 more eggs in the bator to hatch in about 10 days.  Pictures coming later today.

One more little turkey has joined the flock!  She hatched Thursday night.  The older poults are doing fine, but they are filthy.  They spilled their waterer - what a mess.   hit the fan

Here's that baby turkey -- now about six weeks old.  One of the older turkeys was mean to her so she stuck her head in between the feed bags.   lolololol  Too cute!

The hens have a nest by the back door.  I put two ceramic eggs in there and have been taking the eggs every day.  So far we got 13 saved up.

flower  I set 23 turkey eggs and look for hatching around 8/1.  The new moon is 8/2, so it should be a great hatch.  If nothing else interferes.   eye roll
