Dawn, I meant to ask you about your midget turkeys. How many did you end up with? Such pretty birds to be turkeys :)

The midget whites are wonderful!  I have four.  They run with the Royal Palms.  There is one midget white who is obviously a tom.  He has started puffing up and displaying.  Compared to the Royal Palms, the Midget White turkeys look rounder and shorter body size.

Here is a picture of a Midget White tom and hen.  The little tom is about 3/4 the size of the Royal Palm toms.

Good picture Dawn! Boy, he's all ruffled up! All of them are pretty! How is Rosemary?  Still doing good?

Rosemary is doing great.  She's all dirty from dustbathing and wiping the excess eye ointment on her shoulder.  She has started a nest right next to the door to the quail porch.  It is behind a big tray that goes under the rabbit hutch.  There were eight eggs as of yesterday, but she is not sitting on it yet.  I don't know if she will sit, but I'm just going to stay out of it and let her do her thing.  I have one more tray of turkey eggs in the bator and that will do it for this year.
