Terms of Service

Effective: 14 August 2026. These terms govern your use of the FlockInn website.

1. Provider and scope

FlockInn ("we", "us") is operated by the provider named in our Impressum. These terms apply to your use of the FlockInn website and search tool (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What the Service is

FlockInn is a free search and comparison tool. You enter two or more starting locations and drive times; we compute the area everyone can reach within those times and surface publicly available accommodation listings located in that area, with links to the relevant third-party platforms.

FlockInn is not an accommodation provider, host, travel agency, or booking service, and is not a party to any booking. We do not own, control, or manage any listing.

3. No warranty on results

Listings, prices, availability, ratings, photos, house rules (including pet policies), and locations are gathered from third-party platforms and public routing services and are provided for convenience only. Drive-time areas are estimates based on public routing data and real conditions will differ. This information may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date. Always verify the details on the accommodation provider's own website before making any booking or travel decision.

4. Bookings happen with third parties

Any booking, payment, cancellation, or communication takes place directly on the third-party platform (such as Airbnb) under that platform's own terms and privacy policy. We receive no booking data and are not responsible for those platforms, their content, or their conduct.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
• scrape, harvest, overload, or place automated/excessive load on the Service or its infrastructure;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service;
• use the Service in a way that infringes the rights of, or restricts the use by, any third party.

We may rate-limit, restrict, or block use that threatens the availability or integrity of the Service.

6. Intellectual property and trademarks

The FlockInn name, logo, and interface are protected. All third-party names, trademarks, and logos (including "Airbnb" and other platforms) belong to their respective owners. FlockInn is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any accommodation platform.

7. Availability and changes

The Service is provided free of charge and "as is". We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of it at any time, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. At times of high demand, searches may be queued or degraded.

8. Limitation of liability

We are liable without limitation for damages arising from injury to life, body, or health, for damages caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz). For slight negligence, we are liable only for breach of a material contractual obligation (an obligation whose fulfilment is essential to the proper use of the Service), and such liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of service. Any further liability is excluded. In particular, we accept no liability for the accuracy of third-party listing data or for decisions you make based on the Service's results. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the Service or the law. The current version is always available at this URL; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you have your habitual residence remain unaffected.
